A calm, editorial website designed for a private psychotherapy practice.
Role: UX/UI,web Design · Timeline: Concept sprint · Tools: Framer, Figma · Platform: Responsive website
Design Direction: An editorial, emotionally led UX built around a clear information hierarchy.
The journey: moves from emotional connection → relevance → trust → understanding → decision → action, gradually answering “Is this for me?”, “Can I trust this person?”, and finally “How do I begin?”
Layout & UX: The content is intentionally sequenced from the broadest message to deeper information: hero → who it’s for → therapist → areas of focus → approach → services & fees → booking/contact. This reduces cognitive load while letting users self qualify before reaching the conversion point.
Color and branding psychology: The muted burgundy adds warmth, emotional depth, and human intimacy, while teal communicates calm, balance, and trust. The soft neutral background keeps the palette approachable rather than clinical. Together, they create a sense of warmth + stability, appropriate for a therapy brand.
Overall: The design uses editorial hierarchy and emotional pacing to make the website feel less like a clinical service directory and more like a calm, personal introduction to the therapist.
